Privacy & Transparency

I track what I need to make the product better. I never track who you are or what you're doing outside of Ration. This is non-negotiable.

How app analytics work

Ration uses TelemetryDeck for analytics — a privacy-focused service that uses double-hashed identifiers and collects zero PII. Here's what gets sent:

appLaunched Basic DAU — did you open the app today?
unlockStarted Which mode (windowed/metered/interrupted) and duration setting
unlockCompleted / unlockExpiredNaturally Did you finish early or let the timer run out?
interceptTriggered How often the locked-by-default behavior fires
appAdded / siteAdded Whether people customize their block list (count only, not names)
cooldownWaited Engagement with the cooldown feature

Website analytics

This website may use Plausible for page views and download click rates. Plausible is cookie-free, doesn't track individuals, and is GDPR-compliant by default.
